Zillah is a British watercolour artist specialising in house portraits, gardens and cityscapes throughout the South East of England.
She works from life whenever possible in order to capture the light and shadows of her subject. Often it is the pattern of shadows and the complementary play of warm and cool colours which add that essential ingredient to a successful painting.
Her style encompasses the fine English watercolour tradition, exhibiting a combination of meticulous detail with free broad brushstrokes.
Living in Tunbridge Wells, Zillah undertakes commissions in London, Surrey, Kent & Sussex. Each painting is tailored to the specific requirements of the client and makes an ideal gift for special occasions.
